Review of the Glow Tonic and Overnight Serum by Pixi Beauty AKA PixibyPetra

y'all know the back story of my horrible ever lasting acne since the age of 16 - well im exaggerating it wasn't horrible but i mean my face looks like a scene of an after party so you know ive had my decent struggle with acne .. now im 27 (and a new mom ) my acne is ok  (ok is an understatement - if i stop taking care of my skin and my food intake i know the next day i'll wake up with supper angry skkin) i am learning to control it with a number of things like

-the foods i consume - no dairy, no sugar (lol no sugar? really ramya?)

-being clean - washing makeup brushes (lol), not touching my face, AND MAINLY WASHING MY MAKEUP OFF AT NIGHT TIME

-doing masks (ya guys none of the mainsteam media influenced face mask work on my sensitive ass ssassy little indian skin - so i always turn to my diy "indian" face masks -- i'll talk more about it in another blog post.. )

anyways my point is

my skin is supper sassy and high maintanace  (more than me )

i have a lot of issues to take care of #moreissuesthanvogue

right now im into clear looking skin 

sans acne scars

sans dark spots 

i swear when i realised i only get some acne (please do not knix it) and that the rest of the shit on my skin is actually the leftover acne "scars" and "dark spots" my mind was blownnnnnn

so i started to reserach how to deal with the acne scars and dark spots 

i came to learn about "GLYCOLIC ACID" "peels" "Chemical peels" etc... and also pixi beauty's glow tonic and overnight glycolic serum 

i grabbed these 2 babies ('Pixi Glow Tonix (5% Glycolic Acid) and 'Pixi Overnight Serum') just to try them out to see if that will really help my skin

Pixi Glow Tonic - i love it i never use toner after washing my face but umm only after using this i realized how much makeup is left over on the face even after double cleansing it -- so im totally into toners now - and definitely this one because its not just a toner - it has GLYCOLIC acid in it that will eventually help heal? fade? my scars and dark spots

Overnight Serum - it was very easy to apply - love the applicator - i just do one drop on each side of my face and then work it into my skin -- its so therapeutic ..LOL its like here skin get better *pat pat pat *slooooooooow glide 

Dislikes.

--first of all... $$$ damn this shit is expensive -- but i mean you see results so i dont mind 

Glow tonic - wish it came in one of those bottles where you push down and the product comes up into your cotton pad?.. i couldn't really control the pour.. n i felt like sometimes too much product came out n i had to watch my money go down the drain -- the product itself is great does its job -- dno if it helps fade the scars and dark spots but i love using it

Overnight Serum - i felt like there was no product in there! the first time i used it i thought it was already alomst gone be done in couple uses -- n i was just thinking why the hell is it like $40 and not enough product in there -- but lol its been like 4 weeks n im still using it so theres product in it guys it just feels like its empty for one reason i dno why?

yes it does.. i was so excited... i was waiting each day for the end of the day so i can wash my makeup off and put these on just to wake up to clear skin lol 

but heres theeeee catchy catch

i not only used this and saw a magicall difference in my skin

i eat right

i take care of my skin like an OCD person

i workout every single day

and i think adding this into my routine helped too
