History with my skin type and Make Up Primers

No, NON, NO BUENO

skin type in past - oily skin/dry skin in winter/ basically A COMBINATION .. also ACNE prone and very Sensitive

(TO CUT THE CRAP AND READ ONLY ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND MY REVIEW ON IT - SKIP THE BLUE TEXT BELOW) 

NO make up primer has every worked on me

i've tried drugstore brands to organic body shop ones

nothing worked on me - maybe mostly because i try it and by night i would have milllllions of acne all over my face as the primer has clogged my pores 

i never used primer under my make up thought it was a total waste of time and money

and went on a hunt for a good MAKE UP SETTING SPRAY - which i must say i was quiet successful in finding THE ONE

(will probably post about my favourite MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY soon)

SO recently i was out shopping at sephora and of course you stumble upon beautiful eye catching products as you stroll through the store

there.. my eyes met this magically mystical bottle

the beautiful glittery glistening liquid gold primer

i reached for it and tried some out on the back of my hand

i loveeeeeed the way it just glided on smoothy 

i picked up the product and only then found out that it was a makeup primer

(i thought it was some sort of face oil infused with gold flakes or something)

anyways.. i was already convinced..

but mostly because it was so gorgeous i made up my mind to try it out 

First.. LOOK at it.. just LOOK at it

 VERDICT

-SUPER GLAM TO HAVE IT IN YOUR MAKE UP TABLE  LOL

-no no it actually works.. 

-Glides on smoothly

-doesn't leave a sticky/oil feeling behind

-PRIMER smoothes out to a glowy finish/glossy finish 

-most importantly as a primer - IT helps my make up NOT CREASE - especially under eyes 

-works best combined with big brand heavy duty make up (FOR EXAMPLE - MY MAKE UP FOREVER HD FOUNDATION STICK)

-it looks beautiful under my drug store foundation but doesn't last as long (could be the drugstore foundation at fault - its not a super full coverage long wearing foundation )

-will definitely save for special occasions (trying not to use it up everyday as its hard wear it under make up after knowing what a beautiful difference it makes)

-they say it evens out skin tone? but i dno about that.. i do however see it after the make up is on? 
-also.. it did not cause anny immediate breakouts.. (i am however breaking out like crazy from eating like crap and not drinking water for dayyysssa)

(FOUNDATION used here - REVELON NEARLY NAKED IN 200 WARM BEIGE)

By now i see my skin is kind of blurred out already.. also i see less redness all-round my face

AFTER FULL MAKE UP ON

-DEWY

-NOT CAKEY/POWDERY (which might also have to do with setting the makeup with a spray)

-i don't see ANY REDNESS ..for just one coat of the drugstore foundation /KEEP IN MIND, WITHOUT COLOUR CORRECTING .. 

-usually without this primer.. my make up dewy but it is sticky from my moisturizer.. but now its dewy without the sticky feeling! i love it! 

-can you just look under my eyes???? no creasing!!!! whatsoever!!! n doesn't look dry either!! JACKPOT!

(NOW, PHOTOS ARE NOT RETOUCHED OR FILTERED.. BUT i do have decent lighting and a decent pixel Camera phone.. but nothing fancy really so you be the judge)
